The Industry In 3 Words

The industry has evolved, and is continuing to evolve at a fast pace, and changes which have altered the way we work mean the industry now is completely different to what it was when I was born, 21 years ago.

How would you describe the industry now, in just 3 words? Mine are:
1. Vulnerable
2. Positive
3. Frustrated

I'd love to hear more about your 3 words! Especially the 'positive' in between the two negative words.

I'll go with:

1. Saturated
2. Confusing (For consumers)
3. Minefield

Hi Chris - this is only a quick reply to acknowledge your comment, I'll be back blogging in the morning. Go to go to a 21st now, and those choices of words are spot on!

I said vulnerable because of the state of the economy. Public debt still has to be cut, and with tax rises coming up, the general public might not be as keen to fork out for windows and doors.

Positive because that's how the industry has been, and must carry on being, in order to get through the difficult times. I thought that during the worst of the recession our industry coped better than most thought it would.

Frustrated because unlike every other industry that has received help from the government, ours was completely left out as usual, left to fend for itself. Luckily the industry is used to it so it knows how to deal with such things.
